Vendor Guidelines

Standards for listing, operating, and supporting vehicles on RentedRide in a way that customers can actually trust.

A good vendor relationship is built on accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness. Better listings alone are not enough if pickup quality, calendar discipline, and support behavior are weak.

Listing quality

Every live vehicle should reflect real photos, current pricing, valid details, and actual availability.

Operational discipline

Booking response speed, handoff quality, and calendar control directly affect trust and conversion.

Service accountability

Repeated no-shows, avoidable cancellations, or misleading listings can reduce platform standing.

Listing Quality

Customers should be able to trust the listing without having to cross-check basic facts manually.

Use clear, recent photos of each vehicle.
Keep pricing, documents, and availability accurate.
Only list legally compliant and roadworthy vehicles.
Do not publish vehicles that are unavailable, under maintenance, or materially misrepresented.
Update location, add-ons, and policy details when operational conditions change.

Operations

Marketplace performance depends on execution after the booking, not just before it.

Confirm bookings on time and communicate clearly.
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
Maintain high on-time delivery and pickup reliability.
Use calendar blocks and availability controls to avoid preventable cancellations.
Treat payout, refund, and incident handling as core operating responsibilities.

Trust Signals

Customers judge vendors through response speed, review quality, handoff smoothness, and how cleanly problems are handled.

Low cancellation behavior improves marketplace trust.
Clean vehicle handoffs improve reviews and repeat demand.
Accurate support and refund coordination reduce escalation risk.
Consistent service quality improves long-term earnings more than short-term price changes.
Vendors who operate with better accuracy and calendar discipline generally perform better over time than vendors who rely on reactive fixes after a booking is already in trouble.
